Monochromatic Footprint

For this project, I was tasked to bring in one of my own shoes, and create a painting based off of it. We had to paint this with one color, but we also needed to use tints and shades. Tints and shades are lighter and darker versions of a color. I struggled with this project partly because It was hard to make a ton of one color and then make multiple different shades. I also went to put white details in with a white paint pen, when it spilled all over the paper. That's where I decided to just blend it out with my finger. I did this method in a few other places and I kind of like it. If I had the chance to remake this I definetly would. This is because I felt in the beginning that this was going to turn out really good. I felt like I could have done better and shown more of my skills, especially if I had more time.
